Looking past the portraits face and going through the double meaning of objects, is the essence of my work. I look at the portrait as the rediscovering process of finding double meanings from the complex conscious of our past, present and future. Portraits and objects go hand and hand, when discovering something about someone. Trying to reconstruct parts from them via objects is the beginning to portraiture, not the end. Redirecting the focus from what the face could tell, to what an object can say about someone. The shift from the obvious to the not obvious is the portrait key for a alchemist that turns the décor piece into a subject that has representative values
This portrait mixes the medium such as photography, painting and sculpture in order to create this illuminated effect from the darkness that surrounds it. I view this process as an ongoing journey that can lead me beyond the portraits face and into the translation of my inner visions for the object.
